I'm off to drive up the beautiful California coast, for work! I'm actually very excited about my trip alone with a rental car. First stop: Santa Barbara.

I will admit I haven't purchased jeans in a really long time. My wardrobe in the spring & summer pretty much consists of skirts and dresses, and in the fall & winter I add black tights into the mix... but I think it's essential to have at least 1 favorite pair of jeans. After hearing my roommate rave about Gap's new jeans and how amazing they fit I decided to try them out myself. Like a glove! Patrick Robinson describes the "Always Skinny" (which I ended up getting) as fitting like a legging, and I couldn't agree more.
I had a really fantastic weekend at home ( Jess did a wonderful recap complete with photos), however I would not exactly call it relaxing. Sooo I took it upon myself to leave work today promptly at 6pm, make Pioneer Woman's Pasta alla Vodka (like I didn't indulge enough the past 3 days), have some red vino & catch up on the giant stack of magazines that has accumulated on my desk.

This weather forecast for my weekend is making this dreary Wednesday a little more bearable. I'm going home to Maryland for a wild night of line dancing, day at the Renaissance Festival, home cooked meals, family time, brunch on the water & perhaps a little fall shopping.

Who What Wear serves as a daily dose of fashion inspiration and this post has me ready to start my fall shopping list. *I know I'm a little behind
